Analytics
We use two privacy-conscious analytics providers to understand how visitors use the site:
- Plausible Analytics — cookie-less, privacy-friendly, no personal data collected.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — standard anonymized usage data.
Neither tracks you across the web or builds an advertising profile based on your visits here.
Affiliate Tracking
Our product links use affiliate tags (including Amazon Associates). When you click one of these links, the retailer sets a cookie so that we can be credited if you ultimately make a purchase. This cookie is set by the retailer (e.g. Amazon), not by us, and is governed by that retailer’s own privacy policy.

What We Don’t Collect
- We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information.
- We do not require an account or collect names, emails, or payment details.
- The newsletter (if you subscribe) is the only place we collect an email, and it’s used solely to send you the content you signed up for, with one-click unsubscribe in every email.

Our articles link out to authoritative sources (FAA, Transport Canada, manufacturers) and to retailers. We’re not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.
